Program Name: Celebration of National Sports Day 2025.
The National Sports Day 2025 was celebrated at KLS Degree College, Haliyal.The program began with a welcome speech by Prof. Mallikarjun Kajgar, Physical Education Director, who spoke about the importance of National Sports Day and remembered the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand for his contribution to Indian sports.The Presidential Address was given by Prof. Shrinivas Prabhu, Principal, who highlighted the role of sports in maintaining health, reducing stress, and building the nation. He also encouraged students to actively take part in physical activities for overall well-being.The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri. Shantaram Chibbulkar, Assistant Professor, Department of Kannada.
