Report on Annual Day CelebrationThe Annual Day celebration titled “Udaan” of K.L.S Degree College, Haliyal was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 14th May 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in the Seminar Hall of the college. The Chief Guest for the function was Dr. N. Ramanjaneyalu, Dean, Faculty of Management, Professor, and Research Guide in the Department of MBA, Karnataka University, Dharwad. The programme was presided over by the Principal of the college, Srinivas Prabhu.Smt. Deepa Naik presented the Annual Report of the college and highlighted the achievements of students in academics, sports, cultural activities, and intercollegiate competitions conducted during the academic year.During his address, Chief Guest Dr. Ramanjaneyalu appreciated the achievements of the college and motivated the students to develop knowledge, attitude, skills, and hobbies along with academic excellence. He emphasized that success in life depends not only on money but also on values, honesty, integrity, and service to society. He inspired the students by speaking about great personalities like Basavanna, Buddha, Bose, and Gandhi who sacrificed their lives for the welfare of others.Prizes were distributed to the winners of collegiate and intercollegiate competitions by the Chief Guest, Principal Shri Srinivas Prabhu, and Smt. Deepa Naik. Miss Monika Hutagi bagged the Best Student Award for her outstanding achievements and performance.The programme also included colourful cultural performances by the students, which added joy and entertainment to the celebration. The Annual Day celebration concluded successfully with a vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
