An Income Tax Filing Awareness Session was organised for the B.Com V Semester students on 27 July 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The session was conducted by Shri Vittal Wakankar, Accountant, KLS PU and Degree College, Haliyal. During the one-hour session, he explained the importance of filing Income Tax Returns (ITR), who should file ITR, the documents required, and the step-by-step online filing process. The session helped students understand the basics of income tax and the importance of financial responsibility. Students actively participated and clarified their doubts.
Objectives: To create awareness about Income Tax Return (ITR)
Benefits: Students gained basic knowledge of income tax and ITR filing.
